Super yum and fun place. Eclectic tastes and fresh food. We had the Mahi tacos, crispy fish tacos, taco sampler (with xarne asada, al pastor, cru chy fish taco), tuna appetizer, guacamole with elote, Koren BBQ tacos... and everything was just amazing. We sat downstairs inside and it was not very air conditioned, but the vibe was still great. Deducted one star for atmosphere because we were sweating while we ate, but that won't stop us from eating there again! EDIT:: the Crab and Corn Chowder is INCREDIBLE, as is Kate, our server!! She is amazing! The chowder was sweet, full of crab, and super yummy!

So close to the beach, amazing atmosphere, the special drinks were delicious but the tacos were PERFECT! We loved! We tried the “Coconut Shrimp Tacos” and “Al pastor Tacos”, totally worth it. If you are in Cape May don’t miss this place.

Our sweet waitress, Ella, was the best! Very attentive from the start! Very pleasant and friendly! We wanted more salsa and another drink and she came back immediately. This is a great atmosphere to hang out and have great Mexican food! Dogs ARE allowed on the street level only for all of you dog people. Upstairs patio was such a nice atmosphere overlooking the beach. I want to come back and sit up there! Clean, happy restaurant with good vibes!!! Photos tell it all!

So good!! I found this place accidentally looking for a restaurant that didn't take reservations (in hopes of having somewhere to eat on a Saturday night) and this place fit the bill. Wait was roughly 15 min and they did not disappoint. I got a frozen wine drink and the mini quesadillas. My husband got the cheesesteak tacos. It was all amazing. We didn't speak wolfing down every bite. Also, we brought my toddler and they have these awesome extra large high chairs so you can sit at the high tops. Thank you!! I will absolutely come back next time we come to the beach. It's a little bit loud but if you go to eat it won't be a big deal.

Best margaritas and tacos in Cape May. Not only have they perfected the classics but there is a wide variety of innovative drinks and food to choose from. The second floor balcony has a spectacular view of the ocean. Overall great place, would come back again and again.

Good restaurant...live musice was there in weekdays upto 8pm. This restaurant facing see.. We ordered vegetarian Toccos and it was really good. Tres quesadillas and Tres Brussel sprouts tacos. And in non alcoholic drinks Vernon monitor and verging margarita.. They've to take care about cutlery which one I didn't like.It was very cheap...And I think they've to change interior bcoz it looks very old.. Prices $$

We had a party of 14 on Friday night. The food was perfect and Stephanie our server made the experience great. We celebrated Leo's 4th birthday with a candle and desert as the band sang to him. Well done Taco Caballito staff!

THE BEST TACOS IVE EVER HAD. Also probably the best nachos. You won’t be disappointed. Crowded as hell for a reason. Slap your name in before 6 and ask for the balcony seating. We were seated in 25 mins and walked to local shops. Not pictured were our drinks- a really good IPA and a cocktail with mezcal. We had Jenn and she was super friendly and attentive!! Edit!!: I went back the next night because I was so happy with this place! This time my waitress was Kate, who was also an angel and very personable. The staff here are all incredibly easy going which makes for a better dinner experience. I also had the best prickly pear margarita and wanted to order 10 of them. Will be back every chance we get next time we are down. I was also seated immediately and went right at 5:)
